About Shift Clinic · Downtown Vancouver
Spine care that doesn't
snap, crack, or pop.
Gentle, evidence-informed chiropractic in Downtown Vancouver. We chose the approach that actually feels good.
Our Philosophy
Not everyone's cup of tea, and that's okay.
The "crack" works for a lot of people, but for plenty of others, the idea of someone torquing their spine makes them tense up before they even lie down. If that's you, you haven't been missing out on the only option.
At Shift, we built the clinic around a different idea: what if spine care felt as good as it worked?
"I wanted to create a place where people who'd written off chiropractic could give their spine the care it deserves, without any of the stuff that put them off in the first place."
- Dr. Moses Lee, BSc, DCEvery treatment at Shift is built on gentle decompression and roller massage, evidence-informed, effective, and genuinely comfortable. Most patients leave feeling like they just had a really good stretch.
The Shift Approach
Effective. Gentle. Relaxing.
Two core techniques. One goal: get you out of pain and back to doing what you love.
Gentle Decompression
Slow, controlled traction creates space between spinal joints, releasing disc pressure and pinched nerves without any jarring movement. Quiet, calm, and deeply relieving.
Great for: disc herniations · sciatica · neck pain · lower back stiffness
Roller Massage
Purpose-built roller tables target deep fascial layers and chronically tight muscles that no foam roller can reach, consistent pressure across the full length of the muscle, so your spine can move freely again.
Great for: tight glutes · IT band · thoracic stiffness · post-race recovery
Who We See
Built for the way Vancouver moves.
Runners, cyclists, desk workers, hikers, if Vancouver is your playground and pain is slowing you down, Shift was built for you.
Runners
IT band syndrome, plantar fasciitis, hip tightness, and the low-back strain that creeps in after long mileage weeks.
Cyclists
Neck strain from the drops, knee tracking issues, lower back pain from hours in a tucked position, and hip flexor tightness.
Active People
Hikers, swimmers, climbers, yoga practitioners, anyone whose sport puts repetitive stress through their spine and joints.
Desk Life
Forward-head posture, rounded shoulders, mid-back tension, the slow accumulation of a life spent hunched over a screen.
